3D-printed deployable structure

We design lightweight deployable structures that can be fabricated directly through additive manufacturing. By introducing metamaterial-inspired architectures and tailored local geometry, we aim to create printed components that combine flexibility where motion is required with strength and stiffness where loads must be carried, while maintaining very low mass.
